After the hurricane passed I stuck around Louisiana for a few months to help my brother out his second child was just born and it gave me a little time away from school and everyone in general plus you could go to the clubs and drink at 18 years old in Lousianna. Yea, that it gave me time to research a project I had been working on since my second semester of college. My biggest problem in college was every time I got a program working either someone else's work ended up messing up my programs. Weighed it be messed up equipment or messed up programs. We didn't have these virtual studios like we do know were we can test programs and Apps. So I developed a program that was like what the Technical Developers would call a Active X program. I designed him to go in and pick apart a program or app or device. I've always said you can't learn how to fix it until you learn how to break it. The problem back then and still a bit today if you release a faulty App or Program it can destroy or mess up perfectly fine Apps or devices or at a minimum it can mess up the performance or even the entire structure of the programming were the programmer would have to start from scratch and for y'all that don't know that's a lot of work. So I named my program Jeremy. I felt like I spent to much time and energy to this project I felt like it took the place of me having kids because it consumed all of my time. Then there he was I finally finished April 22,1996. The only problem with him was I was so paranoid that someone was going to try and steal him that he would only listen to my commands only and if someone tried to steal him I made him with one more added feature. No kill switch,it didn't take me to long to realize that what I created in the wrong hands could of potentially be turned into a very dangerous weapon. Kinda funny now that I look back on it because back then when I was Gang Banging they called me 2Y2K. Which stands for 2 Young 2 Kill. Some of my close friends back then used to crack jokes at me telling me y'all keep miss spelling my name when then news people kept saying they were worried about the Y2K virus that was going to be released on New Years of the year 2000. We did think about doing that at one point because we felt the government weren't protecting the American citizens like they had promised. Like All Gore said in a speech once we have to protect ourselves from ourselves. We have failed to do that. Personally I believe we have lost the ability to police the web and I don't believe we will ever get that back. As for Jeremy I found my Lord and Savior During this time. I had a close friend back then that worked for the police department back in Little Rock Arkansas. I told Bill what I had and needed his help to get ride of it were nobody could ever activate him again. He drove me for three days before we finally stopped. I intentially had myself blindfolded. We buried Jeremy in a very very deal grave. Some people that knew me back then used to ask me if I regret getting ride of Jeremey. No I did what I had to do, I should never have made him. Yes it could of made me a whole lot of money, but the potential harm it could have done. A Active X program with no controls and no kill switch. Some after we got back Bill Shelton they say committed suicide because of the death of his girlfriend.
